The group is working towards the big solar eclipses on October 14th 2023 and April 8th 2024 to provide many accompanying events. Connections to A4E include: bringing attention to Earth, inspiring awe and community from an astronomical perspective, connections to Dark Skies, reinforcing the nature of science and the ability to accurately predict phenomena; additional ideas are searched for. It would be great to have an A4E resource for eclipses in general. All are welcome, join the meetings in person, or feel free to add notes asynchronously to our brainstorming document.
