From August 6 until August 15, the 32nd IAU General Assembly 2024 will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. It is one of the largest international Astronomy meetings and we are looking for A4E members to represent our organisation at this meeting! The National Organising Committee (NOC) has made sustainability and accessibility two of the three pillars for this meeting, enabling full virtual attendance.

We hope the Assembly can be a great platform to make A4E wider known and engage with new people. If you are planning to attend this meeting, please let us know via this brief poll.

We’d like to coordinate how A4E as an organisation can be present at the meeting in order to connect with new people and potentially also foster new collaborations within A4E. If you indicate that you are willing to represent A4E in any way, we will get everyone in touch before the meeting and also help you to organise potential contributions.
